Delta Housing Tenant Summary

Welcome to our house. We hope your stay is filled with life long memories. We like to introduce you to our mission here at 630 Virginia Park. Delta Housing is responsible for the operations of the house. It is run by the alumni of Sigma Pi. Many of us alumni have taken time out of our busy schedules to see that our younger brothers can enjoy their stay here. We all pride ourselves for the dedication that we have put into this house during our college days as well as now. Therefore, we want to communicate the importance of keeping the house safe as well as making sure it is maintained properly.

Tenants living here will sign a lease and provide a security deposit. There are going to be certain rules that are to be followed so that the longivity of the house can be maintained. To sum up the general rules as listed in the lease:

• All tenants as well as brothers not living in the house and guests are expected to respect the rules made by Delta Housing.
• All brothers must see to it that their guests do not damage the house and property in anyway.
• Common Areas will be maintained and kept clean. This means the bathrooms and kitchen as well.
• No excessive garbage is to be found in the common areas of the house.
• Keep fixtures in good order and functioning. This includes plumbing and lighting fixtures.
• No one is allowed to break the windows. Anyone found breaking windows will replace them at their cost.
• No one is allowed to damage the walls in any way. So, this means no punching holes in walls or marking them up in any way. Your break or damage you pay....
• Keep mirrors in the house clean and avoid breakage.
• The floors will be swept and mopped when needed.
• No drugs in the house. This means no smoking stuff in common areas and in the open in front of guests or others that may be around.
• All tenants are required to change their room locks when they move in. They must take out the lock when the leave. A spare key will be provided to Delta Housing. We will reserve the right to entry upon notice either by phone or writing. This is to insure that your rooms meet a certain standard.

Basically, keep the house clean and properly maintained and your stay should be enjoyable for you and the next generation of brothers.
